| Description: | Our office has provided continuing education opportunities for clinicians in the Chicago Metropolitan area for many years. Although many continuing education courses are available, very few allow doctors and hygienists to learn together. This was a great opportunity for 120 participants to learn as a team. We presented material on a variety of topics ranging from oral pathology to the latest diagnostic and surgical techniques in periodontics and implant therapy. After the presentation, Dr. Sabzehei performed a live demonstration on PRF (platelet-rich fibrin). This is a technique where we draw the patients own blood and use the different components to enhance the healing of surgical procedures. |
