Financial Information

We offer a wide variety of payment options in order to make it easy for you to receive the quality of care you need in a way that fits your budget. These options include up to 12 months interest free financing for those who qualify.

By running an efficient office we keep our fees reasonable. We are proud of the fact that over the past ten years our fees have been maintained at or below the cost of inflation. Our policies have been designed to keep our office running efficiently and make it comfortable for our patients to receive needed care. We need your cooperation. We have a variety of options for our patients such as extended payment plans and interest free loans. Please feel free to discuss these options with our financial personnel.

Insurance

Due to constantly changing insurance regulations, benefits, and deductibles, we are only able to approximate your insurance balance. We stand ready to assist you in obtaining the maximum benefit from your insurance coverage. We will always be your advocate when dealing with the insurance company. However, please remember that we have no control over the quality or extent of your coverage. If your employer has purchased a good policy, then you will have good coverage. If your employer purchased a lesser policy, then you will probably have limited coverage and will need to pay a higher out-of-pocket amount. Also, your needs may be different from what the policy covers. Ultimately, our goal is to provide you with the best of care regardless of your insurance coverage. As a result of Dr. Cabrera’s work as a periodontal insurance consultant we have access to the latest information on dental insurance and will use this knowledge to your benefit.

Some important points about dental insurance:

  • Our treatment recommendations and fees are based on your needs, not what your insurance may or may not provide for.
  • Some insurance companies will use confusing language, such as “usual and customary fees,” to define what they will pay for. These reasons are typically based on the quality of policy you have but have nothing to do with usual nor customary.
  • As a courtesy to our patients with medical and/or dental benefit plans, we will submit necessary claim forms, receipts, and other information to your insurance company to make sure you are reimbursed as promptly as possible.
  • Although we will gladly file your claim on your behalf, you may wish to submit the claim yourself. In general, insurers process claims filed directly by patients faster than those filed by the service providers (dental offices).

For your convenience, payments may be made with cash, personal check, and bank draft, Discover, Visa or MasterCard and American Express. If you have any problems or questions, please ask our staff.
